New live in UKM

Finally a month had over. I can’t believe that I can make it. I used to be so homesick when I was in matriculation college before. I didn’t go back home for over a month. For sure this is not because I did not miss my family. I do miss them very much. However, there are a lots of assignments that I need to complete and a lots of activities that I need to join in order for me to continue staying in the college for the next year. It was so tiring but of course I learn a lot of things from there. I learn how to manage my time properly, I get to know a lot of new friends and also learn how to become more independent.
Live in university is not the same as in matriculation college. We do not have everything well prepared for us before the class start. We have to find our own note, not depends on the lecturer to give us the note. At first I really feel so scared because this is the first time i have to learn and study by myself. However, from day to day i know that i am not alone. There are a lot of friends that are willing to help. Besides, we can always seek the help from lecturers when we are facing problems with the study. Besides, i found that learning English is not as boring as before. We learn how to study law in English. The skill of skimming is really useful. Before this i like to read a passage word by word but now i can finish reading a long passage in just a few minutes time because of the skill of skimming. The interaction among ourselves made me feel that learning English is funny. I can remember the new words i learnt easily. Hopefully that i can manage all the things properly.
